What the calculators do
Our tools help you turn room measurements into practical material planning quantities: individual tiles and boxes, flooring cartons, grout bags, wallpaper rolls, paint gallons, baseboard lengths and more. Many buying decisions depend not only on the amount needed but also on package sizes, cuts and allowances. We make these factors visible.
What the calculators do not do
A calculator does not inspect the jobsite, choose materials or verify building requirements. We do not estimate a contractor's quote or guarantee that a specific quantity will fit every design. Each tool includes the formula used and reasons the field result may vary.
How we develop content
We prioritize calculators with editable material characteristics and worked arithmetic examples. Editorial guides explain the calculation separately from the tool and link to the relevant calculator. Material-specific installation advice must be checked against the latest manufacturer's technical data and applicable local requirements.
Independence and privacy
