How MaterialRaft handles calculator inputs, technical logs, website cookies and information you send us.

Information processed in the calculators
Measurements, room labels, packaging quantities, optional prices, and material selections are processed in your browser to produce estimates. Our calculators do not require a user account and are designed not to transmit the measurement entries to a MaterialRaft application database. If you use Copy or Print, those actions are handled by your browser or device. Avoid including personal details in room labels.
Information we may receive
Our hosting infrastructure may process routine technical and security logs, including IP address, browser or device information, access times, requested URLs, and diagnostic events, to deliver and secure the website. We may receive your email address, message, and any information you voluntarily send when you contact us.
Blog and necessary cookies
The editorial guides use WordPress at /blog/. WordPress and its installed services may set technical cookies for security, login, or administration. Public comments are disabled at the time of this review. Browser settings can be used to manage or delete cookies; some functions may be affected.
Advertising and Google AdSense
MaterialRaft may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where permitted, personalize advertisements based on visits to this and other websites. Where required by applicable law, we will present a consent interface before using non-essential advertising technologies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the advertising consent setup will use a Google-certified consent management platform when AdSense personalized ads are enabled. Where available, visitors can revisit their consent choices using the consent controls displayed on the site. You may also control cookies through your browser.
AdSense may not be active on every page, and the specific data processed depends on the services that are actually enabled. We review this notice when our advertising, analytics or consent configuration changes.
Analytics
MaterialRaft uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find and use the website, including which pages they visit, general referral sources and browser or device information. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and receive usage information according to Google's privacy terms. We use these reports to improve the calculators and guides; we do not intentionally send individual calculator input values (such as room dimensions or price entries) as Analytics events. Where applicable, analytics cookies and measurement are subject to consent and browser choices. Visitors may limit or block analytics through their browser settings. We review this notice and consent configuration when our measurement settings change.
Third-party links
Our guides may link to manufacturers, trade associations, and other reference sites. Their privacy practices are separate from MaterialRaft's; review their notices before submitting information on their sites.
How long information is kept
MaterialRaft does not create user accounts or store calculator estimates in user profiles. Hosting logs may be retained according to operational and security policies. If you email us, we may retain relevant correspondence as needed to respond, resolve issues and keep a record of corrections. You may ask us about a message you sent.
Contact and privacy requests
To ask about our privacy practices, report a concern, or request the correction or deletion of information you sent to us, email materialraft@gmail.com. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational obligations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in hosting, measurement features, advertising, consent settings or applicable requirements. An updated version will appear on this page with a new review date.
